Each pair of shoe is the result of a carefully crafted vision and handmade design. Every person is different and so is every shoe. And when people ask you about your shoes, which they will, you will have a great story to tell.
Aaron Firestein and Raaja Nemani, the founders of Bucketfeet, met in Argentina and bonded over a love for art and shoes. Raaja moved on to the next 25 countries over 6 continents wearing a pair of sneakers designed by Aaron which inspired a lot of conversations along his way. It allowed Raaja to connect with so many different people with different background. Separately, Aaron held an exhibition of the works by street artists who had so much talent yet unnoticed. He wanted to show people that art was universal, that art could connect people, and that talented people were everywhere. That was how Bucketfeet started and the rest was history.
