For the first time, German luxury technical camera brand Leica is collaborating with the Asian Civilisations Museum to host an exhibit that makes photography more personal and accessible to the public. Display 23 original prints from six prominent photographers such as Henri Cartier-Bresson and René Burri among others, these pictures have been in private storage till now.
Curated to follow the journey of these lens men, the exhibit presents an outstanding and unique convention of cultures that have been captured on film. Visitors will also be able to catch a glimpse of classic Leica cameras while attending photography workshops by Mathias Heng, lead instructor of Leica Akademie, Asia.
The exhibition runs from the 19 October to 31 December 2013.
