Although short in quantity, Michael Kors’ Spring/Summer 2014 collection was definitely high in quality. Presented alongside his womenswear collection in New York Fashion Week just yesterday, there was a total of five looks that summed up Kors’ message loud and clear: a softer attitude to tackle the sharp and tough metropolitan, an appropriate motif that reflects perfectly well with the city of Singapore. Tailored blazers, pinstripe suits, cozy sweatshirts and a particularly sharp set of safari jacket had a very relaxed attitude to it, a very forgiving form for the male body; after all, not all of us have the figure to fit the Saint Laurent and the Givenchys; and for that, we’re going to give Michael Kors a round of applause!
