With a collection appropriately titled The Magic Mountain, Kim Jones has commissioned the notoriously sinister Chapman Brothers for a fabulously droll collaboration.
“For Louis Vuitton’s Autumn-Winter 13-14 collection we were commissioned to create our own interpretation of a French baroque floral print. Using hand panted watercolour artworks from our archives, and inspired by the intricacies of Himalayan tradition arts, we added twisted and surprising elements to the creepy floral design; subverting and reinventing the classic.”
Check out the scarf taken from-said collection! Featuring a demonic snow leopard, with its twisted stare and sharp claws, the printed scarf is done in a very hell-ish color scheme of grays and red. An execution similar to that of the Stephen Sprouse collaboration Vuitton did a few years back, it’s a more grim take for those who have a more abyssal taste to their wardrobe; this scarf will be able to protect you in any winter wear outfit. Be sure to grab yours quick cause these are obviously made in limited numbers!
