Entering the competitive Asian market, Italian fashion house Versace has inked a deal to build a luxury hotel in the gambling capital of the continent, Macau. A joint venture with Chinese region’s biggest casino operator SJM Holdings Ltd, the planned five-star Palazzo Versace hotel is to set base at the territory’s notorious casino resort complex. 

With an expected opening date by 2015, the grand structure will have 700 gambling tables and 2,000 hotel rooms to curb the betting appetite of the Chinese market; and currently operating one hotel in Australia with plans of a Dubai one next year, we predict this iconic Italian label has plans on taking over the entire luxury market and we’re not complaining.
