It’s the car that got all Paris hot under the collar at the recent Motor Show, and the one that sent the Men’s Folio team into a rapturous tizzy once the pictures started circulating online. We’re referring to Peugeot’s Onyx hybrid supercar concept, a sleek roadster constructed from carbon fibre, and powered by a 3.7-litre V8 engine that delivers a whopping 600 Hp, with another 80 Hp derived from a lithium-ion source. High-def specs aside, we can’t deny its inimitable sex appeal, all matte black paint and distinctive copper panelled sides, designed to acquire a patina as the vehicle ages. The Onyx is nothing short of a sci-fi fantasy, but boy do we love holding out for a pie in the sky.
