Square-jawed Chinese model Hao Yunxiang strode down the Milan runway for Frankie Morello, looking like an extra for a hip-hop vid in the Italian label’s youthful punk-rock offering for Spring 2013. Yunxiang’s paisley bomber jacket—left open, all the better to show off his tight bod—and matching pant ensemble was completed with your typical breakdancing trappings: glinting cross-shaped necklace, insouciant graffiti-print baseball cap and high-top sneakers. We think we can appreciate the humorous irony in the all-or-nothing, take-no-prisoners attitude of this exuberantly ghetto collection…plus with that taut torso, Yunxiang actually pulls this off…just barely.
