The Leica M9 is available in two different finishes: black and steel-grey. The two models have different leathering which aesthetically suit the different colours. The Leica M9’s body is made from a two-piece magnesium alloy. The top plate which contains the viewfinder chamber and controls is milled from a single block of brass, making it robust and elegant with its minimalist design.
