Every week, we delve deep into the Dropbox or Google Drive folders sent by brands (or as they call it, a Press Folder) to find something unexpected, desirable and a little bit off-brand. Here we have Roku’s alcohol log cake in collaboration with LUNA.

Technically speaking, and with all due respect to the employers and bosses out there who are potentially reading this: an alcohol log cake for the festive season is fair game when it comes to an office pot luck party. For the employees who are reading this, the Roku x LUNA Winter Blossom Log Cake with its innocent pastel shade of pink and twee decorations (actually, a LUNA hallmark as the patissiere produces the most photogenic desserts) can be smuggled into an aforementioned party if it is the serious sort.

Dressed in pink, adorned with Christmas motifs, and comprised of six layers (snow-white lychee mousse, pink jelly infused with Roku Gin, sweet lychee cremeux, zesty yuzu ganache, crunchy feuilletine, and soft almond sponge), the collaboration also includes a 200ml bottle of Roku Gin (best to intercept the delivery man to keep it for yourself, to be honest) and complimentary limited edition Roku merchandise – Roku balloon glass, wooden coaster, and a ceramic gin cup for some 2023 desk decoration.
