Louis Vuitton Collaborates with Colette For A New Pop-Up Store to Showcase The AW15 Menswear Collection

French maison, Louis Vuitton are collaborating with the concept store Colette to launch a men’s pop-up store on the upper floor of the Rue Saint-Honore from the 22nd of June to the 18th of July.

Helmed by Artistic Director of Louis Vuitton Menswear, Kim Jones, the collection draws a psudeo-oriental inspiration from the “Harajuku”-spirit silhouette unique to late creative powerhouse and tailor, Christopher Nemeth. Jones’ admiration for Nemeth’s archives and his heritage has led to the Artistic Director modernising his muse’s work through textiles and innovative craft techniques applied to the new collection.

The Colette pop-up store marks the first time Louis Vuitton has shown its collection outside of their brand outlets. Colette customers will be able to immerse themselves in a jewel-box presentation of choice pieces from Louis Vuitton’s ready-to-wear mens collection, alongside accessories and an exclusive Twister canvas tennis shoe.

Jones has proclaimed his enthusiasm about the partnership. “I am really excited about the idea of collaborating with Colette on this beautiful project. It’s position at the crossroads of fashion and culture makes Colette the ideal place to celebrate Nemeth’s genius. Knowing that the young Louis Vuitton apprenticed in exactly the spot where the concept store stands today makes doing this project here an even more obvious choice!” quips the director.

The collection will also be made available at Louis Vuitton stores and www.louisvuitton.com
