The Guardian initiative is very much in line with the legend of The Glenlivet. When the British Crown awarded their first distilling license to George Smith back in 1824, his smooth Single Malt was already highly sought after by those with a taste for the finer things in life. Ever since, the legendary whisky of Glenlivet has been prized, celebrated and fought over. The Guardians initiative recognises the importance of upholding these proud traditions of The Glenlivet by according to its passionate connoisseurs and supporters the privilege of guardianship.
As a Guardian of Scotland’s most celebrated single malt whisky, expect to gain privy into the thoughts, views and experiences of The Glenlivet’s host of whisky experts. Guardians will also be among the first to receive the latest updates from The Glenvilet Distillery and will gain exclusive access to guided tasting sessions of some of the brand’s most renowned single malts, including limited editions and back vintages. Being part of the club also grants Guardians all the knowledge they need to appreciate and enjoy the subtle flavours, aromas and textures of The Glenlivet whisky.
Of course, Guardian privileges go beyond the usual – pop-up tasting experiences and invite-only parties are just the tip of the iceberg.
