When two of Italy’s finest brands come together, the resulting partnership can be epitomised in one word–perfection. Luxury sports car manufacturer Maserati enlisted the expertise of fellow Italian powerhouse Ermenegildo Zegna to upholster the interior of its flagship Quattroporte in celebration of its centennial this year.
Limited to 100 pieces, each painstakingly crafted automotive boasts fittings in the finest silk and leather specially developed by Zegna. The Italian fashion house expertly marries these two noble materials to embrace the high performance sports car the way a finely-tailored Zegna suit drapes its wearer. Each of these coveted creations finished in contemporary Testa di Moro dark brown and elegant Greige (a hybrid of grey and beige) bear a discreet “Ermenegildo Zegna Exclusively for Maserati” label on the sunshade, like the label on the inside of a Zegna suit that marks its pedigree.
Complementing the “Limited Edition One of 100” Quattroporte is an Owner’s Collection kit specially created by Ermenegildo Zegna to commemorate the union of the two Italian icons. The kit consists of 19 carefully-curated items that anticipate the lifestyle needs of the privileged Quattroporte driver. The accessories including bags, wallets and shoes, all sport the same refined colour scheme as the car’s interior and are subtly branded with the Zegna name as well as the Maserati trident. The Owner’s Collection kit makes a fitting tribute to this celebration of Italian craftsmanship.
