Audemars Piguet will be opening its second standalone boutique in Singapore at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, adding to the line-up of luxury boutiques at the iconic mall. Slated to open on 25 August 2014, the new store will showcase an original concept design that captures the 139-year old brand’s core values of “origins”, “artistry” and “extraordinary relationships”.
The new store pays homage to the Swiss haute horology brand’s heritage and evokes images of Le Brassus – Audemars Piguet’s birthplace in the Vallée de Joux – with its blend of wood and metal. Designed by a Swiss creative agency in collaboration with Audemars Piguet’s Chief Artistic Officer Octavio Garcia, the boutique is divided into two spaces: “The Manufacture” and “The House”. “The Manufacture” includes detailed product displays and a watchmaker corner. “The House” incorporates a full service bar and lounge that invites clients to relax with an espresso or a cocktail.
Committed to the highest levels of excellence in design, manufacturing and service, timepieces from all of Audemars Piguet’s six major collections will be presented at the Marina Bay Sands boutique, where clients will enjoy unparalleled levels of service and comfort. Emblematic timepieces as well as pieces from new collections will be showcased around the boutique for watch enthusiasts and collectors to enjoy in the new Audemars Piguet “Home away from Home”.
