Air France’s New Cabins

  • By Men's Folio

Air France showed off its exciting suite of new cabin products at an interactive travel-themed event in New York. The “Air France, France is in the Air” exhibition, held at the Center548 located in the chic Chelsea neighbourhood, allowed guests to experience the French carrier’s newly revamped cabins.

Air France’s flagship La Première (First Class) product took centre stage at the exposition. The elegant suites, designed to recreate the atmosphere of a top-class hotel, come with familiar conveniences such as bedside lamps and comfortable ottomans. Every seat also features individual curtains that can be drawn for maximum privacy. The La Première display was clearly the pièce de résistance at the exhibition, drawing great praise and admiration from visitors. The luxurious elements and thoughtful fittings incorporated into the design of each suite raises the bar for First Class travel and makes Air France’s La Première one of the best in the market.

Business Class passengers enjoy direct aisle access in every seat as well as a fully flat bed measuring almost two metres in length. An extra large down pillow and soft duvet will ensure that you get a good night’s sleep and reach your destination well-rested. A Clarins amenity kit, similar to the ones distributed on the famed Concorde, ensures that Air France’s premium passengers arrive refreshed and ready to start their day.

Air Frances New Cabins 3The new Premium Voyageur (Premium Economy) cabin features fixed seat-backs that remove the need to get your friendly neighbour in front to put his seat back upright during the meal service. Featuring 40% more space than regular economy as well as business class amenities like noise-cancelling headphones, amenity kits and bottled water, the Premium Voyageur experience is in a class of its own.

Air France’s new cabin products are available on intercontinental flights from September 2014.
