Exploring the Men’s Baguette World entails an exciting journey into the Fendi Men’s universe, where poppy and dream-like mystery surrounds the 2019 “The Baguette is Back” trend. In the short movie, influencers Marc Fornè, Leo Mandella and Nasir Dean play with three different variants of the iconic Baguette bag: in black Selleria Cuoio Romano leather, grey nylon and the special Karl collage print fabric.
Fendi re-proportions the Baguette bag into three sizes for the guys — maxi, regular and mini — while expressing the Maison’s savoir-faire through careful detailing and proud practicality. The Baguette bag even depicts creative transformation with its ability to wear different styles, such as cross-body, hand-carried or as a compact belt-bag.
Exploring the Men’s Baguette World was filmed at the Fendi Men’s pop-up store in Via Montenapoleone 3 in Milan, a space that previews the Fendi Men’s Fall/Winter 2019-2020 collection and new Baguette for men by Silvia Venturini Fendi. The atmospheric pop-up highlights architectural codes that reference the ready-to-wear collection and is a manifestation of the dialogue between Fendi and the “guest artist” of the season, Karl Lagerfeld.
