Bell & Ross’s infatuation with early 20th century aviation aesthetics continues unabated, but with stunners such as this Vintage WW1 Chronographe Monopoussoir, who can fault them? Inspired by WW1 pilots wristwatches, it features a crown integrated with a single push-piece that controls the chronograph functions. Beneath the period-style domed sapphire crystal and gorgeous ivory dial throbs an automatic heartbeat engineered by one of Switzerland’s finest movement constructors, La Joux-Perret. Despite being 45mm in diameter, the skinny bezel and slender wire lugs help reduce the apparent heft; resulting in a watch that sits and fits comfortably on the wrist. A dark blue alligator strap caps this handsome number. A version with a chocolate brown dial and tan calfskin strap is also available.
