Best Looks from the Streets of Men’s Paris Fashion Week FW’19

  • By Khoo Yong Hao

Although showings of the new season take centre stage during fashion week, that is not to say the best outfits are exclusive to the runways. Looking to the streets of Paris, our roaming street photographer @Leongsushan took it to the humble sidewalks and caught some good-looking people wearing good-looking clothes. Here is a round-up of the best looks that fashion week had to offer, off the runway.

Day 1

Day one of Men’s Paris Fashion Week started out strong. Virgil Abloh of Louis Vuitton was spotted in Paris ahead of his show, while style influencers, journalists and models set the tone for what’s to come, trend-setting collections presented in true fashion.

Day 2

The Men’s Paris Fashion Week crowd was feeling a little down-to-earth on day two — earthy tones of brown, green and blue abound as fashionistas roamed the streets from show to show.

Day 3

Temperatures may be freezing low at Men’s Paris Fashion Week but creative spirits could not be any higher. Style tastemakers were seen fashionably snugged as they made their way to day three’s offerings. In particular, Singapore born and bred Mandopop superstar JJ Lin stole the spotlight at the Louis Vuitton Fall/Winter’19 show, dressed in an Abloh-designed white suit with a sensually overlapped harness.

Day 4

Day four of Men’s Paris Fashion Week saw checks and prints favoured by stylish individuals as dainty patterns and conspicuous motifs were peppered all over the city of light.

Day 5 & 6

A wave of colours came crashing down on the Parisian conclusion of Men’s Fashion Week despite the bleak disposition of day five. A pop of yellow here, a tinge of blue there, it was clear that fashion week goers were bent on going all out to end the week-long affair on a high note as the colour craze trickled down well into day six.
