Is this reality or fantasy? We reckon it’s the best of both ‘worlds’. Usually, life imitates art, but art imitates life in this enthralling dreamy act.
Gucci has teamed up with Spanish surrealist artist, Ignasi Monreal in creating a new digital experience #GucciHallucination on the Gucci App. Dubbed as Gucci’s latest collaborator, Montreal’s campaign masterpieces has been upgraded to 3D utopian art history galore.
Fans can now play with #GucciHallucination by scanning the Gucci SS’18 campaign images to activate Augmented Reality (AR) effects after downloading the Gucci App from the App Store or Play Store. As for our fellow compatriots, look out for the outdoor billboards at Tangs Orchard Road to upsize your play. The activating artwork will also be printed as actual tickets to be given to purchasing customers in 52 stores islandwide. The tickets will allow for in-store activity aided with virtual reality headsets. As if all that is not enough for Gucci enthusiasts, you can score yourself some downloadable wallpapers simply by scanning the window sticker image below.
If screen breaks and mall cardio are right up your alley, Paragon and ION Orchard stores feature special window displays from 12 March 2018 onwards.
