Following Kris Van Assche’s Spring Summer 2018 Collection, Dior HOMME has released a series of thin metal
sunglasses: DiorPressure, DiorTensity and DiorMaster. Crafted in fine, openwork temples, Dior Homme’s Thin Metal series visually translates to the emblematic scar of the men’s collection, a complement to of the brand’s subversive tailored looks from SS18.
With various presentations of frame thickness in solid and patterned hues, the launch reflects the house’s signature styles. Captured by director Dexter Navy, the DiorPressure model reinterprets aviator sunglasses into a pared-down version; with its sophisticated design the DiorTensity revisits a timeless square shape; while the DiorMaster play with the contrasting thickness of the frame around the lenses and the slimness of the temples.
