Peep Fendi’s sporty new Fall/Winter 2017 Men’s Sunglasses Collection

  • By Pameyla Cambe

Fresh from collaborating with K-Pop star Tae Yang, Fendi has taken eyewear to new heights with its latest Fall/Winter 2017 Men’s Eyewear Collection. Taking cues from the Fendi Man, the collection features contemporary designs drenched in elegance — the perfect accessories for a sporty lifestyle.

With an emphasis on craftsmanship, Fendi’s new sunglasses feature cutting edge geometries, bold shapes and unexpected colour combinations. A daring palette of blue, grey, green and natural Havana is used to play on contrast, without once failing to highlight the refinement of the Fendi Man.

Innovation might be a key theme in the Fall/Winter 2017 Sunglasses collection, but Fendi is sticking to some of its traditions. Celebrating the brand’s rich history, the iconic triangle element and metal stitch both feature all throughout the collection.

Coming in solid and mirrored lenses, each new pair takes on a character of their own. As its name suggests, the caravan-style FENDI AIR sunglasses showcases lightness and fluidity with its super-light stainless steel frame. The FENDI FANTASTIC aviators, on the other hand, is a throwback to the 80s with its distinct shape and a playful palette of pop colours.

A star in its own right, the second iteration of the FENDI FANTASTIC sunglasses captures the fun and positive spirit of the Fendi Man with colour-blocking contrasts and an eclectic mix of materials. The lenses are also framed by colourful, see-through acetate at the sides, making for a unique pair of shades.

Fendi’s new eyewear designs perfectly embody the energetic spirit of the Fendi Man, but we’ll let the sunglasses do the talking in the collection’s new campaign video. Shot in the Canary Island of Lanzarote, the video stars model Nicolas Ripoll running and jumping much like in a tribal dance through the raw and volcanic terrain of the island, bursting with life.
