This Fall/Winter, luxury brand Berluti kicks things up a notch with the Fast Track. Created by Alessandro Sartori, who was inspired by classic runners, the new offering boasts more youthful and vibrant elements than you’d expect. The Fast Track is a cross between a sports shoe and the classic Derby – designed to allow the modern gentleman to feel comfortable and look style-forward all day. The upper of the shoe is crafted in Berluti’s special in-house leather; Vitello Unico, which comes complete with brogue detailing and three-eyelet lacing to recreate that classic British look. The lower part of the shoe is built with all the curves of a sports trainer, allowing the wearer to experience exceptional comfort. Available in three different shades: tobacco bis, desert night and buffalo. This season also sees a special edition of the Fast Track that is made in a combination of nylon and glazed calfskin. This particular model does away with the Derby-inspired details. Instead, it flaunts a clean, black leather design that is sleek and timeless.
