Rare Mahler Auction by Sotheby’s Hong Kong

You may not be familiar with composer Gustav Mahler, and we don’t blame you. The Austrian composer recently got our attention thanks to an auction by Sotheby’s Hong Kong, which saw a rare handwritten musical manuscript by Mahler go under the hammer. With a price tag of US$4.5 million, it may just be the most expensive musical manuscript by the auction house.
