SK-II Dream Again Campaign Launches

  • By Dewey Sim

We’ve all probably had noble dreams of saving lives, fighting fires or educating the unprivileged. But, perhaps, only a handful of us have had the courage to hold on to our ambitions and worked towards its fruition. Enter the SK-II Dream Again campaign.

Luxury skincare brand SK-II launched this new Dream Again campaign at its pop-up event at One Raffles Place this afternoon, June 21. This is part of its latest initiatives to reconnect adults with their long-forgotten dreams, and empower them to achieve the aspirations they had harboured since their younger days.

Inspired by the thought of how dreams fade with age, and how adults who dare to dream are often happier, the campaign was set in a social experiment setting, where children acted as surprise counsellors for adults who have turned weary in the corporate world.

In the same vein, the campaign was also triggered by the alarming results garnered from the Global Dreams Index Survey conducted by the brand, where over 5,400 women in 14 countries were asked about their willingness to pursue their dreams. Shockingly, women are becoming less satisfied with their lives as they grow older, and have given up on their dreams.

Local personalities including award-winning actress Rebecca Lim, musician Benjamin Kheng, and Youtube personalities Munah Bagharib and Hirzi Zulkilfie were present at the pop-up event at the heart of Singapore, serving as aspirational figures chasing and living their dreams in their respective fields. A total of 400 adults also came forward during the event to reignite their childhood and pledge their courage to dream.
