Affordable Art Fair returns to Singapore with art and activities for the entire family

  • By Men's Folio

Singapore once again plays host to the spring edition of the Affordable Art Fair. Held at the F1 Pit Building from 17-19 April, the fair carries the artworks of more than 500 artists from 85 galleries around the globe that hold the theme of contemporary Asian art. As the name of the fair suggests, these art pieces will be sold for between S$100 and S$10,000, with three quarters of the works priced below S$7,500.

Look out for activities like the Art Education programme, which includes a tour and behind-the-scenes installation spaces, as well as a children’s art studio where natural creativity is allowed to flourish. Moreover, this edition of the fair features the SG50 Feature Wall in celebration of Singapore’s jubilee year, where a range of artworks from 50 commissioned artists will be sold for S$500. Artists take home half of the proceeds, while the other half will go to the fair’s charity partner Playeum, Singapore’s first centre for creativity and culture.
