To celebrate the Calvin Klein brand across the Asian market, the all-American fashion house hosted an exclusive presentation and party in Singapore last Friday night. The event featured a sleek and modern one-of-a-kind architectural installation as its centerpiece, projecting the brand’s design ethos in brick-and-mortar form.

International guests in the likes of Louis Khoo, Alex To, Alvin Goh and the brand’s womenswear and menswear creative directors Francisco Costa and Italo Zucchelli, were in attendance as they traipsed around the concept house designed by Joshua Prince-Ramus. The renowned American architect united the company’s different labels and product categories under one roof.

The resulting structure was erected within a hangar on the grounds of the old Kallang Airport — a site decommissioned in 1955 and has since been designated as an architectural landmark. The installation marked the first time an event was held in the compound and employed technology to engage guests for an interactive experience.

Calvin Klein Home pieces were featured throughout with more than 30 live models – including face of Calvin Klein Jeans Matthew Terry – moving about the voyeuristic space, all decked in the brand’s iconic underwear and key looks from the various fall collections.

Singapore was chosen as the location for the event to commemorate the company’s continued global expansion, and to mark the opening of four new Calvin Klein Collection stores in Southeast Asia this year.
