Following on from exhibitions throughout the world including Tokyo, New York, Paris, London, Milan, Beijing and São Paulo, this is a remarkable showcase of over 100 photographs of the jacket adapted and worn differently by some of today’s greatest personalities in contemporary culture. The exhibition includes 21 new images depicting celebrities and other personalities wearing the iconic piece, lensed by Karl Lagerfeld and selected from the book “The Little Black Jacket: CHANEL’s classic revisited by Karl Lagerfeld and Carine Roitfeld”.
At the opening were actress Song Hye Kyo, model Karolina Kurkova and new faces to the book, French actress Alma Jodorowsky, Chinese model Xiao Wen, Korean model Soo Joo, joined by Thai actress Chompoo Araya, Singaporean model and upcoming actress Sheila Sim, models Fiona Fussi and Liv Lo, radio DJs Rosalyn Lee and Bobby Tonelli, host Henry Golding and opinion leaders Sarah Tan, Ashley Bei and Renée Lorentzen.
The exhibition is now open and runs till 1 Jan 2014. Admission is free and musuem operating hours apply.
