The website “Inside Chanel” takes a trip to the heart of this iconic French fashion brand and segmented them into five chapters that translated into five short films that recount a myth.
‘Coco’, ‘Mademoiselle’ and ‘Gabrielle Chanel’: 3 short films tell the story of Gabrielle Chanel, a young orphan who grew into a liberated woman and whose creations revolutionized women’s wear. Discover how her travels, her lovers and her encounters guided her choices and influenced her style, turning a young woman with a visionary spirit into a legend.
Concluding in the last two chapters, Karl Lagerfeld, Artistic director of the House of Chanel since 1983, talks about his vision of Coco and the Chanel style. He explains how, while perpetuating the values cherished by Mademoiselle Chanel, his unexpected reinterpretations, his unusual vision, and his ceaselessly renewed creativity make the quintessence of Chanel – that inimitable blend of luxury, fashion and sophistication – instantly recognized to women.
