OF THIS MINUTE: Hedi Slimane’s Video Debut For Saint Laurent

Here it is guys; Hedi Slimane’s first foray into motion picture, and it’s nothing to sniff at. The designer, who has photographed all of the label’s campaign since he took over last year created a serenely short film entitled “Dance” and stars one his favourite models Gracie Van Gastel to introduce the label’s new classic “Ballerina” shoes. The short video itself features music by L.A. teenage musician Clementine Creevy of Cherry Glazerr, and has Van Gastel skim around an abandoned warehouse and parade off her dance skills as she flirts around with a hoola hoop. More of an art-house direction, we’re sure this video will resonate a mood with you hardcore Saint Laurent fans out there!
