With a fresh set of menswear campaign under the reign of Alexander Wang, Balenciaga has taken a more contemporary approach as opposed to the futuristic direction the legendary French label has taken under longtime creative director Nicolas Ghesquière. The Fall/Winter 2013 campaign, shot by Josh Olins, stars Sylvester Ulv (Topman, Dansk… etc) lounging about in dark empty room wearing the brand’s latest Fall/Winter offering. With a much moodier approach, we foresee a whole new persona taking shape in helm of the house; sure there has been a lot of controversy attached to the change, but we can only predict things to go forward while Wang is in charge!
