When you walk down Orchard Road, we’re sure you’ve stopped for a second to observe the Louis Vuitton window displays that are proudly presented to you in all its glory. Well this time around, the iconic label is taking things back, way back. Inspired by a visit to the Natural History Museum in Paris’ Les Jardins des Plates, Natural History Windows puts together Louis Vuitton’s Fall/Winter 2013 collection with all things prehistoric.
The Vuitton team brings these primitive skeletons 290 million years forward in time and put a surreal, spiny fantasy twist to them; shining brightly in antique gold, the Stegosaurus, Brachiosaurus, Velociraptor, Spinosaurus and the notorious Tyrannosaurs Rex can be seen modeling along side some of Vuitton’s exquisite bags and clothes. Unfortunately, the only store in Asia Pacific to display this magnificent and unique window is the 5 Canton Road Maison in Hong Kong.
So if you’re planning a summer trip to the harbor city from now till end of October, take the opportunity to pose next to the creatures that are as old as time itself.
