Just in time for some festive end-of-year gifting, Swiss leathermakers Bally has removed the veils from its inaugural collection of spiffy shades for his and her. Under the watchful eyes, so to speak, of Bally Creative Directors Michael Herz and Graeme Fidler, the trove of optical accoutrements retain a strong sense of Swiss flair.

Fans of the label will be thrilled to spot some of Bally’s most recognizable design elements: the striking red and white “trainspotting” stripe, the Mountain Goat motif, the Bally Crest and the Block-B have all been incorporated into the structure of the sunglasses.

Among the specimens that have “caught our eye” include a handsome aviator which makes full use of the brand’s expertise in fine leather: both the bridge and temples are lined in the plushest calf, while Bally’s Block-B motif has been embossed into the metal temples at the tips. Another standout boasts acetate frames in a very cool camouflage tortoiseshell. Available at selected Bally boutiques in Singapore from December; call your nearest dealer for assistance. Have fun eyeballing the extensive range!
