Green Feat Gardens By The Bay 1

Boasting an opening day crowd of 30,000 visitors on June 29, 2012, Gardens by the Bay has shot to the number one spot on the must visit list for both citizens and tourists. Instantly recognisable from the 18 Super Trees with the tallest rising to 50m, and the 128m-long sky-bridge that connects two of them for an aerial view (22m above ground) of the lush gardens, and the two cooled conservatories housing the Flower Dome, and the Cloud Forest which also incorporates a 30m-tall waterfall, the billion-dollar Bay South Garden is the first but most distinctive of the three phases of the eventual 54-hectare Gardens to be completed. As iconic as the architecturally stunning Marina Bay Sands building nearby, and representative of Singapore’s progression from a Garden City to a City in a Garden, Gardens by the Bay is clearly an extraordinary creation without peer worldwide.
